New Release - Christmas on Nutcracker Court

Judy is also offering a giveaway, so be sure to leave a comment! :)Here's Judy....The weather outside is frightful…But inside my house, where it’s warm and cozy, I’m ready to pick out the DVD of one of my favorite Christmas movies.At this time of year, if you’re like me, you enjoy curling up on the sofa with a cup of hot cocoa or tea, watching movies like Miracle on 34th Street or It’s a Wonderful Life.Even if your DVD player is on the blink, you can always turn to the Hallmark Channel, where some great, made-for-TV movies are sure to warm your heart and put you in the holiday spirit.I especially like Christmas romances, like Holiday Inn, White Christmas and The Shop Around the Corner. My favorite, though, is Christmas in Connecticut—the original with Barbara Stanwyck and Dennis Morgan (1945), as well as the remake with Dyan Cannon and Kris Kristofferson (1992).

I just Googled that movie to make sure I had the correct release dates and the proper spelling of the names. Imagine my surprise—and delight—to see that Jennifer Garner is scheduled to star in a 2012 remake. So you can bet I’ll be standing in line to see it on opening day at the theater!There’s just something special about those heartfelt holiday stories—either the ones on we see on television or those we read.So it shouldn’t be any surprise that I have two Christmas releases out this year—one romance and an inspirational women’s fiction.I’ll give three lucky people who comment and share their thoughts on the appeal of Christmas stories, either books or movies, an autographed copy of either A Baby Under the Tree or Christmas on Nutcracker Court.
