A Joyous Thanksgiving!

The Romance Writers of America, San Diego chapter, wanted to share with you some of the things we are thankful for today! Please feel free to add your thoughts in the comments as we celebrate a joyous Thanksgiving together---as writers, readers, and friends!!

  • I am thankful for stories to be told . --Lisa Kessler
  • I am thankful for all the ladies of RWASD who took me in and treated me like any other romance writer. --Robert W. Richard
  • I am thankful for my family---big-time. Really. Between my day job and the writing deadlines, my husband rarely sees me. And yet, he's right there, waiting for me to do my thing. Love that. And he's not the only one who cares. What's better than that, and more worthy of thanks? --Linda Thomas-Sundstrom
  • I am thankful for baby naps. --Eleanor Nystrom
  • I am thankful for all of my wonderful RWASD friends and my ability to create entertaining stories!  (at least they keep me entertained ;)) --Marie Andreas
  • I am thankful for my children's good health and that my husband hasn't egregiously injured himself in some sort of hobby or leisure-related accident like he's prone to do most years (*knock on wood*). --Melissa Cutler
  • I am thankful for my fantastic husband and wonderful children. I also like RWASD and the friends who support each other. --Phyllis Humphrey
  • I am thankful for the love and good health of my immediate family. Last Thanksgiving my dad had just come off life support. His doctors were convinced he would need round-the-clock care for the rest of his life. His heart was very weak and they weren't sure how much brain damage he'd suffered. Well, he's been living in his own home this year doing just fine. I can't think of a better example of where there's a will, there's a way. --Stephanee Ryle
  • I am thankful for printer ink, so I can see my books in print. --Rachael Davila
  • I am thankful for all the supportive people in my life who make it possible for me to be a mom, scientist, and writer. --Shoshana Brown
  • I'm thankful for my loving family and that SAPPHIRE SKIES will be a published book in January 2013. --Mary Galusha
  • I am thankful for my healthy children, my supportive husband, my amazing friends, and my stellar writing community. RWASD, you're the best! --Cassi Carver
