SoCalRW’s S.M.A.R.T. Goals ChallengeBy Pamela MoranSix months feels like a long time, but was October really all that long ago? Here we are, almost April, and I have a question for you: What kind of progress - with your writing and in your career - have you made since October? What about those January resolutions? How’s that working for you? Seriously, I’m not being flippant, I’d like to know.C.J. Corbin’s January workshop on Achieving Your Dreams – The What, How, Why, and When of Setting S.M.A.R.T. Goals inspired me and I’m inviting each of you to join us for the next six months as we explore and set achievable goals, hold each other accountable through support and comradery with meet-ups after the regular meetings and monthly Zoom meetings, along with a private Groups IO forum open for ongoing discussions.S.M.A.R.T. Goals:SpecificMeasurableAttainableRelevantTime-BoundLet’s plan those goals, move forward, commiserate, and celebrate each milestone, each victory, and each other!Come and join your fellow SoCalRW members for the new SoCalRW’s S.M.A.R.T. There will be a Google spreadsheet for the over-arching six-month goal, along with six monthly spreadsheets to keep track of progress – part of the accountability process. We’ll call for your progress to be recorded once a week on the monthly spreadsheets and at the end of each month for the over-arching spreadsheet.See you in the Challenge!PamPamela MoranSouthern California Romance WritersPresident ElectRegistration for the 2023 S.M.A.R.T.
