Your first draft is finished... What do you do now? Revision is an art, just like writing, and it's a skill we hone and improve with each new draft and book. Join us as we learn how to find an editor, spot red flags to look out for, and choose between the different stages and types of editing. This online class kicks off a series with SoCalRW as we explore the skills and tools needed to thrive in today's self-publishing landscape.
Using her technical writing background in tandem with a creative streak a mile wide, Beth Hudson curated a business that caters to authors and service providers that need editing and a custom web presence and branding without the budget of larger operations. Editing and graphic design became a natural by-product of the classes required for the technical communication coursework and the real-world experience she gained over the last twenty years, and thus, Beth Hudson, Ink. was born.
